Tampines town is in existence for more than two decades. In this period the Tampines town has been developed a lot and the people in the town council has come forward to build their environment and co operates the town council officials in doing the improvisation works. The Tampines town council consists of five divisions namely Tampines Central, Tampines North, Tampines East, Tampines West and Tampines Changkat.
